exploring San Juan

The day started with a quick trip to the Plaza Del Mercado,
where we bought ingredients for dinner later that night.

No trip to Puerto Rico is complete without a stop at Castillo San Felipe del Morro
or better know as El Morro

A visit to Rincon, Puerto Rico

We all decided to spend a couple of days in Rincon. Rincon, translated from spanish means corner, is located in the northwest corner of Puerto Rico and best known for its surf.

The beach takes its name from the large green dome
which is part of a defunct nuclear power
plant that was built directly on the beach.
